Join African Timeout on a half-day tour for "An Elephant Experience For Life".
At the Elephant Sanctuary you are hosted in small groups by an experienced guide, for an educational elephant experience. Your guide shares a wealth of knowledge about elephants in general and lets you get to know the sanctuary's elephants personally. Mosadi Maroela, Khumba, Thandi and Jabu are female elephants. The largest, Mosadi, is about 2.4 metres at the shoulder. Each elephant has a unique character and personality, and you will form bonds with them very quickly.
The programme is on foot and quite full, so wear comfortable clothing and flat, closed walking shoes, and bring a camera. You will experience the elephants walking close to you in a forest area, watch them at play from a tree house deck, touch, feed and interact with them, and break away to a mountain and waterfall area.
