Join your African Timeout tourist guide for a walk to remember. The lion interaction and walk at Ukutula is something you will cherish forever.
Ukutula Lodge and Lion Sanctuary is within an hour's drive of Johannesburg and Pretoria. The game farm covers 260 hectares of unspoilt bushveld with a variety of antelope species, giraffe and zebra, and is home to more than 130 bird species. Known as the "place of quiet", the lodge is nestled in lush bushveld where the roar of the lion can be heard for miles around.
The programme includes a walk with lions and an interaction programme to learn about the captive breeding programme that exists around the big cats.
