About this tour

Join an African Timeout guide at this gem of a market in Joburg's northern suburbs, which for over 30 years has focused on offering the best quality natural and organic products. You will find clothing made from natural fibres, unique hand-crafted gifts and jewellery, and a deli section with organically grown and certified fresh produce, cold meats, sauces, speciality breads, cheese, exotic coffees and much more.

Children will have fun making candles and sand art, and then everyone can enjoy refreshments in the leafy tea gardens and restaurants. There are four eateries serving delicious pancakes, pizzas, quiches and curries, all freshly made with natural ingredients. Vegetarians and diabetics are catered for.

The market is open on Thursdays and Saturdays, 9am to 3pm.
