Have the best of both worlds. Join us for a tour of the great Pilanesberg Game Reserve, looking for the Big 5, with the afternoon spent at Sun City.

The Pilanesberg National Park is in the North West province, 160 km northwest of Johannesburg, in an eroded volcano that is more than a million years old and one of the largest of its kind in the world.

We depart from your hotel and head north through fertile valleys that give way to the mighty Magaliesberg mountain range. We cross the waters of the Hartebeespoort Dam with its scattered sailing boats and reach the Manyane Gate for refreshments. Then we board our vehicle for a game drive in the park, where your experienced guide ensures the best game viewing at close quarters.

After lunch (included) in the park, we explore Sun City, South Africa's major pleasure resort, catering for everything from casinos and golf to water sports and international entertainment. Spend the afternoon at leisure wandering through the tropical gardens, taking a refreshing swim, sipping an exotic cocktail at the Cascades, marvelling at the Palace and the Lost City, or trying your luck at the casino.
