Our tour begins with an early (06h00) departure from Johannesburg (we will pick you up at your address) and we travel eastward into Mpumalanga passing through Witbank (largest coal producing area in Africa), Belfast and Lydenburg. We then proceed over Long Tom Pass, one of the most spectacular in the country, before reaching Sabie where we stop for refreshments. We proceed on a scenic drive to Pilgrims Rest where we stop for lunch. Time will be available to explore this village (a living museum and a National Monument) in order to soak up the extraordinary life and times of the pioneering gold diggers. We continue our journey to the Park and on to Skukuza for the night.

Day 2 Skukuza – Lower Sabie - Satara.

The day begins with an early morning game drive returning for breakfast after which a visit to the museum and Stevenson-Hamilton library housing fascinating historical records is well worth while. The rest of the day will be spent game viewing while making our way to our over night stop at Satara

Day 3 Satara – Olifants.

We continue our tour of the park by game viewing along those routes which have reported good sightings and learning a little more about the Park’s history, geology, plants and animals while making our way to our next over night stop at Olifants Rest Camp.

Day 4 Olifants – Shimuwini.

Today we make our way slowly northward stopping at water holes and generally enjoying the Bushveld and all its wildlife, not forgetting of course the birdlife! After a visit to Letaba for lunch and relaxation we spend the night at Shimuwini Private Rest Camp.

Day 5 Shimuwini – Shingwedzi.

The day will be spent travelling through Mopani/Bushwillow Woodlands to Shingwedzi for the night.
