About this tour

This is an informative tour, providing a look into the habitat and behaviour of animals like cheetah and wild dog.

The Cheetah and Wildlife Centre lies nestled in the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountains. De Wildt is renowned for its breeding success with rare and endangered species. The very rare king cheetah was the first bred here, with similar success breeding wild dog, brown hyena, blue duiker, suni antelope and various species of vultures and owls.

Visitors can see these animals up close and learn interesting facts about their nature and habitat on an open vehicle tour of the centre.
