Pre and Post tour for the ICDS Conference 2020
Join African Timeout in discovering the Mother city, Capetown. These tours have been specially set up to tie up with the agenda of the ICDS conference to make the participants visit to South Africa as seamless as possible. African Timeout is offering the Cape town tour pre and post the conference as per itinerary below
Pre Conference tour 17-20 May 2020
Day 1
Arrival at OR Tambo Johannesburg airport before 12:00 midday, You will then be escorted to a domestic flight to Capetown ( people could arrive the previous day and stay over in Johannesburg). The rest of the afternoon you may explore the city bowl and the very popular V&A Waterfront. (B)
Day 2
A full peninsular tour and table mountain is in the order of the day visiting Table mountain (weather permitting) , Atlantic seaboard , Cape Point, Boulders (penguins) and great sights of False bay, A suitable stop for lunch will be arranged (FOA) The evening one of the many restaurants in the city can Be explored (BB)
Day 3
Early morning Ferry to Robben Island a world heritage site ( weather permitting) will be a guided tour of the famous prison of Nelson Mandela. After some time for lunch at the V&A waterfront, you shall depart for a wine tasting tour of the famous wine region of the Cape (BB)
Day 4
Your day to explore Capetown and its many adventure activities or just spend some time at leisure.Late afternoon flight back to Johannesburg where you will be met by an African Timeout representative and transferred directly to the conference venue.
Post-conference tour 23-26 May 2020
Day 1
After checkout at the conference venue and your final meeting, You will be transferred to OR Tambo for your Afternoon domestic flight to Cape town , and met by the African Timeout representative and transferred to your Cape Town hotel. (B)
Day 2
