Your tourist guide will collect at 07:00 and proceed out of Johannesburg or Pretoria to the area of Hartebeespoort dam where we will join the tour at the De Wildt cheetah farm . Experience cheetahs and wild dogs to the full with a game drive through the facility and expert guides informing you of their behavior and habits. Animals like brown hyenas, vultures impalas and nyalas are also seen. Traveling a short distance through Hartebeespoort we visit one of the largest African craft markets and have lunch at one of the local restaurants. At 14:00 we arrive at the Elephant Sanctuary for the elephant program and overnight
16h00 Arrival - Welcome drinks Check in and chill out observing the elephants from the main deck or have a swim in the lodge pool.
17h00 See the elephants stabled for the night followed by a walk to the mountain deck for sun-downers. Return to the lodge for a four-course dinner in the Boma where you can relax around a log fire.
07h00 - next morning - Be ready on the main deck for morning brush downs of the elephants. You will get introduced to the elephants with a chance to interact and form bonds with them, walk with them, feed them and learn more about their behavior, anatomy, social structure and more.Breakfast is usually served after the brush downs and walk.
10h00 Program ends.
Your guide will meet up with you at 10:30 to proceed to the Lion Park where the big cats are introduced to you on a personal level. You have the opportunity to touch and play with the cubs’. Spotted hyenas and plains game is also seen on the game drive Tour ends at about 15:00 with a drop off to suit the client
