Day One – arrival in Johannesburg – overnight to rest
You will be met at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg by your African Timeout tourist guide which will transport you to your hotel in Sandton the richest square mile in Africa where you will have a chance to rest before you are taken out for a Welcome dinner at one of the famous restaurants in Sandton
Day Two – transfer to Madikwe or Welgevonden for Safari
After a overwhelming breakfast we depart around 09:00 on our way to the bush in the Marakele game reserve. On our way we pass Pretoria one of the three capitals of South Africa and have a visit to one of the most sacred museums in the Afrikaner history ,the Voortrekker monument .An early lunch in Pretoria will put the group back on the road to our destination in the bush , arriving just before the late afternoon game drive in one of the lodges open game drive vehicles taking in the tranquility of the bush and nature.
Day Three – overnight Madikwe or Welgevonden
Day Four - transfer to Pilanesberg for one night
Day Five – visit the Cradle of Mankind and the Apartheid Museum – overnight Johannesburg
Day Six – flight to Cape Town at 11am. Afternoon City Tour - overnight Cape Town
Day Seven – Cape Peninsula Tour – overnight Cape Town
Day Eight – Robben Island Tour and helicopter flight – afternoon at leisure V&A Waterfront.
Day Nine - 2 nights overnight in Franschhoek on a wine estate with touring on the first day
Day Ten – free day to explore the town on foot or take the wine tram. overnight Franschhoek
Day Eleven – transfer to Hermanus for two nights of local touring
Day Twelve – optional Shark- Watching or Whale- watching tours (season dependant) overnight Hermanus
Day Thirteen – transfer to airport for return flight to home country or continue with direct flight to Victoria Falls.
