Hot air ballooning an experience of a lifetime.
A very early start as we need to be at the launch site before sunrise.An African Timeout tourist guide will collect you from your hotel or residence and take you to the launch site in the Cradle of Humankind , Kromdraai.
- Upon arrival, Tea/ Coffee and Biscuits served as you watch the balloon being inflated.
- Flight of approximately 1 hour
- Enjoy game viewing from the balloon
- Keeping with tradition, the flight will be celebrated with champagne and orange juice
- Transfer back to the 5 Star Lodge
- Full English breakfast
- Certificates presented by the pilot
- The entire experience will take approximately 3 - 4 Hours
Flights are completely weather dependent and will be confirmed the night before, and flights are at the sole discretion of the pilot.
